Hoshi Japanese Restaurant @ IMM

Had a pre-celebration with M few days back.
Was feeling girlish so I wore La Enchante cayla dress even though it was a work day :p

Here's how it looks in full :)

Cayla crochet collar dress (black) Size S

There's still size S left!

Was craving for sashimi so we went to the nearest Japanese restaurant :)
Ended at Hoshi @ IMM.

Ordered a set dinner meal at $42+ for 2pax.
Very much worth it!
Changed the sashimi platter to all salmon sashimi.

Wings wth salt.

Came with 2 sets of pork cutlet, rice and soup too.
The pork cutlet was crispy yet not oily.
Portion was huge too, I had to takeaway the remaining so as not to waste so much food! :x

And since we were at IMM, went Daiso to stock up on all the snacks and what's not!
My fav snack from Daiso..
Limited edition flavours ;)

Had photoshoot with C the next day.
The shoot was a lil' awkward due to a change in studio area :x
Maybe cos I'm not professional lah hurhur.
But still, can't wait to get the photos from her!

Cebu Pacific "Search for the Juan Blogger" Contest

Are you a fellow blogger who likes to dance? :D

Loves to perform?

Dreamt of being a star?

And more importantly, do you like to TRAVEL?

Well, you can see that I certainly do! Albeit not necessarily good in them :p

But good news if you happened to have the same interests as me! :D You can now shake, twist & sway your way to Philippines for FREE!

Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB), the Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, launches the contest:

Search for the Juan Blogger

An online contest for bloggers in Singapore and Malaysia.

Are you the Juan?
“Juan,” in the Filipino language, refers to the everyman, a key market for CEB given its trademark low fares.

This is also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a blogger and his or her companion to explore the Philippines, and to share these adventures to the world through their blogs.

The “CEB Juan Blogger” will have the opportunity to travel to key cities that CEB flies direct to from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur: the bustling Manila metropolis for its shopping indulgences, picture-perfect sunsets in Manila Bay, and exciting nightlife, and Cebu for its enchanting Spanish history, pristine beaches and delectable cuisine.

"Cebu Pacific has always been known for our upbeat flying experience, and young and fun culture. In our search for a blogger ambassador, we want to find someone who embodies that same fun-loving spirit we have. This is why we are very excited to watch the dance entries and see the creativity of bloggers from Singapore and Malaysia,” said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific Vice President for Marketing and Distribution.

For the less fun-loving (just kiddin!!) who are reading this, below are some technical/operational information about Cebu Pacific Air :)

Cebu Pacific Air is the largest carrier in the Philippines air transportation industry, offering its low-cost services to more destinations and routes with higher flight frequency within the Philippines than any other airline.

In its 16th year of operations, CEB had flown over 70 million passengers. It provides access to the most extensive network across the Philippines, with 32 domestic and 21 international destinations, including Beijing, Bali, Osaka, Seoul and Dubai.

CEB currently operates 10 Airbus A319, 24 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. Its fleet of 42 aircraft is one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2013 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 18 more Airbus A320 and 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft orders. It is slated to begin long-haul services in the 3rd quarter of 2013.

For more information, just visit www.cebupacificair.com :)

So…
How to be Crowned “Cebu Pacific Juan Blogger”?

For this contest, I’ve done up a little “demo” video for submission too! This might not be good enough for the contest, but it’s just a guide to how easy it can be! :D

Had Y to join me initially for a pair dance :D But we couldn’t find a suitable timing to do it together cos it was the CNY period and we were both busy with visitings and such :/ So had to re-do the original choreography and it ended up abit awkward cos I feel damn paiseh to do it alone :( lol.

Besides choreography, I thought about the costume too.
Other than our pretty SIA uniform, the next image that comes to my mind for this contest’s getup goes something like that:

Yes, the scarf! And the hair bun!

I had thought of digging my old military band uniform (mine's red, totally similar to the red ones above and comes with a matching beret!), but erm, don't wanna make myself sad in case I realise that I can't fit into it anymore :`(

So, I picked a red dress out of my various past CNY clothings LOL...borrowed a scarf, took Lynn's little hat accessory, and a pair of shades (so that I can save the time to do makeup haha) and there you go! My "costume" as follows:

It turned out to be quite retro, which hey, can be a specialty too :D

I chose the safety belt instructions portion of the dance music and immediately thought of the belt I bought for daddy some time back. LOL. Don't mean to imply that I got bad taste in belts.. Buying one that looks like a safety belt :/ But uh..my dad just likes his belts that way!

Poor innocent belt that got kidnapped from my ransack of the wardrobe.

photo5_zpse2548532.jpg

Does look alike what??? :O

The first portion of the dance coincides was choreographed accordingly to the voice of the mp3.
Something about listening to the captain and refer to the cabin crew.
*does gesture for passengers to listen up*
and then waving my hands in the air to get their attention (just in case they can't tell apart the cabin crews from any other possible party animals on the plane :X)
Rest of it with the belt were rather impromptu! hahaha.

I presume that there might be space constraints as the aisle might be quite narrow.
So, the choreography is catered specially to the limited space - mainly movements of the arms and simple swaying/shakes/turning on the spot.

And, here's the dance!
I won't say, "enjoy!" lol.
More like..

Don't vomit! AHAHA.
It's all in the name of fun! :)

You may vote for the video here

Or if you can do better (which I'm sure u can!)
 Join the contest here!
Enjoy & all the best! :D
Vote for my video if you can hahaha.

Haven't seen wc for awhile, since our last trip in Nov I think!
So great to be catching up on things during the photoshoot! Esp certain gossips where daily people around me aren't really concerned with. haha :p
Okay la, I'm not a ba gua.. We didn't really gossip. But it just feels good to have someone who knows and understand of that situation, lol.

I think my curls are doing quite well that day!
Now I just need some colour touch-up for the cny. Everywhere's either fully booked or increasing their pricing, where should I go?? :|
Oh for those who were asking, I went to Jean Yip for my perm.
Length like mine is considered as "extra, extra, extra long", quoted from my stylist. 3 'extra's becos he only handles such customers once in 3 months. lol =.=
i thought sg got alot many girls with super long-hair?

Anyway, back to the latest collection.
I wish I can wear all of them if I can! But that would mean I need a....4th wardrobe.
Yes, currently I have 2 huge wardrobes, and a small temporary one. Goshhh.
Must. Stop. Buying. Clothings.

My favourite frock out of the upcoming collection is this!

This is too irresistible, I can't help it but kept one!
Actually prefer the black as it is more contrasting against the white florals.
But the peach one is good for CNY, so I got that instead :D

Photobucket
Wore it for a gathering before.
It's a lovely shade of red :)

Did an instagram post after I received the pics from wc.
Haha.
Fashion mag frame, so buay paiseh! :X

Frocks with a cute surprise at the back.
I love designs like this! :)

Lace dresses that give such demure, sophisticated looks.

Catch the launch here on 1 Feb 9pm! <3

Samsung Ecobubble Technology

I'm back!
Had a short trip to BKK again!
Needed a getaway pretty much.

Didn't take much photos this time round. Had a number of family shots with my Dad's Samsung phone. But his mobile was pickpocketed at Asiatique on the second last day of the trip, so all the photos were gone :(
Initially we had a hard time making a police report cos the thai police there didn't understand English.
When they finally found one young (n cute looking hee) policeman who could speak proper English, it was such a relief! I hope they got the everything correct so that our insurance claim process can be smoother!
Anyway, speaking about Samsung, I'm actually quite a fan of Samsung products! In fact, i was a Samsung mobile phone user before the iPhone came out :p The Korean brand is not only creative and innovative in its technology, the product designs are often very elegant and stylish. I've used/am using Samsung's mobile phones, external hard disk, thumbdrive, cordless phones, monitor screens, TV, DVD players, washing machines, and probably more other things which I can't remember currently.

Just when I thought that the focus is pretty much on its mobile phones nowadays, I hear that Samsung came up with a new innovative laundry technology called the Ecobubble!
Check out the cute video here!

LOL. I like the ending especially!
Goldilocks' three bears must be wishing for a laundry machine like this!

As bimbotic as I may look, I do know how to, and do actually use (sometimes) the washing machine ok.
Afterall, we had to do our own laundry while studying in Maastricht then! ahems. I was forced to learn learned :)
It can be so therapeutic to have all the dirty clothings and bedsheets cleaned.
Especially thick/wooly/furry winter clothings that seems to be trapping so much dirt and dust when while kept in the wardrobe.
Just watching the bubbles form and clear, the laundry spinning round & round seemed to spin my troubles all away for that moment.
Fresh, clean laundry after that gives me a feeling of a brand new start to the day!

However, downside is, my knit wears and other thick clothings can take so long to wash!
Especially when I add in my blanket or other heavy stuff.

Now, Samsung ecobubble technology not only allows me to enjoy the bubble washing, it (the bubbles) actually penetrates the clothing much faster and more efficiently thus having a better wash and protects the clothing better from stretch (my knit wears!). Wish they had came up with this earlier on!!

Not only that, the washing machine has a special diamond drum pattern which uses the water more efficiently. The pattern is also very effective at protecting your clothes from catching or stretching, so you can enjoy wearing them for longer. Say yay to more expensive classic pieces! :)

Next on the list is the ceramic heating technology in this machine. It's very quick and efficient at heating up the water in the system and it also means the heating elements are protected from limescale build-up for up to three times longer.

There are a whole load of programmes and wash cycles/patterns designed for you and controlled easily via the LED panel.
But don't worry, if you're like me who doesn't really wanna crack my brains over household chores, the programmes are all very user-friendly and useful. Especially the quick wash, my favourite if I were to just wash a few small items in a rush.
For environmentally conscious users, try the Super Eco cycle which gives one of the most efficient washes :)

Now, if you hadn't, check out the new laundry ecobubble technology video here!

La Enchante F/W Collection. H&M

I'm sooo into bling bling clothings recently~

Did slightly bling nails too! :)

Some wounds on my index and second last finger due to the removal of my previous hard gel nails.
Never gonna do hard gel nails again. Such a long painful process to remove them :(

Anyway, i'm indeed getting into the festive mood already!
Got lotsa red clothings (for x'mas) as well as knit wears, blazers, leather pieces etc..
Hope I have enough energy (feeling a lil' under the weather) to attend the gatherings at mid/end-month!

If you're interested in getting bling tops or autumn-feel pieces, keep a lookout for La Enchante's collection this weekend!

Received the editted photos from C :)
Featuring a glitter top!

For Jerm's wedding dinner recently.

The silver version :)
Posted these previously when I met up with the girls~

Black leather skirt from the same collection too.
Comes in plum colour too!

Also another skirt that goes so well with the glitter tops!

*hearts* the swirly effect :)

Long sleeves knit top

Which is nicer, Periwinkle or grey?

Of cos, not forgetting everyone's all-time favourite peplum design..
Comes in 4 beautiful colours! Teal green, light pink, nude and black :)

Visited H&M @ Ion recently cos Mr D mentioned that the collection there is more updated and comprehensive as compared to the one at somerset.
Many things caught my eye indeed!
Msged M immediately exclaiming "gosh so many nice stuffs, think i'm gonna spend alot!"

Thankfully, I reminded myself that "ahya I can get something similar from blogshops at a lower price" lol, so managed to narrow down to only 3 items phew.
Bought a dress for upcoming D&D, a basic top and blazer below.

Love the pale blush pink shade and polka dots lining!
$59.90
There was only 1 size 32 left on the rack, so i grabbed it immediately :x
For normal tops/dresses, I wear size 36/38. But not sure for blazers, it's 32........ machiam very petite liddat. haha!

Kinda like the cream leather biker jacket as well.
But it was at $79.90 and I don't foresee myself wearing it often.. so gave it a miss.
I'm still thinking about it now luh!

xoxo,
