Universal Studios Singapore 2

Continuation of USS!

See my balloon? :D
But we misplaced it very soon after, in Madagascar :x

Guess which 'kingdom' we were in?
The Far Far Away land!

Bumped into shrek on the way there.
Was still a little wet from dunno which ride (Jurassic Park boat ride i think, we didn't go to places in proper sequence).
Thankfully it was scotching hot that day, was dried up in no time.
But the sun and all the heat made me crave for iced drinks all day, coke esp :|

Doesn't help that they have cute, fanciful stores selling drinks all around!
Like this candy house!

Honestly, I never quite remembered Gingy in Shrek :x
Kept thinking it's the gingerbread man from Ovenbreak. Hahahaha.

Gingy.

Ovenbreak.
Looks the same what, no?

Just to show how overpriced the bottled drinks are!

Castle in Far Far Away kingdom!
(Balloon still with me)

For Far Far Away Land, there's the Shrek 4-D animation show!
I rank this the third best entertainment (first is transformers, second being the return of the mummy's ride).
Actually it's quite an enjoyable program, just that I get giddiness and headaches wearing any 3D specs. Otherwise, it could easily become my favourite of the rides/shows!

Spoiler:
Be prepared for some water element and creepy crawlies :p

Forgot where I saw this dino, wasn't in Lost World though.
It behaved super duper like a live dino!

Person trying to sell us fans that blows out cool mist. lolx.
But no thanks. I had enough of water on my face/body though. After all the water elements in the rides/shows.

Where're we moving to next?

Hohoho!

It's always so funny to see characters walking around like nobody's business.
Especially the penguins, it always feels like they're gonna be up to some mischief again. Even 'in real life'!

Madagascar!

The kiddy boat ride in Madagascar.

Love the short & fat one :p

The 2 smarter ones!

So fat & cute lolol.

More kiddy rides.
Madagascar land is basically kiddo-friendly.

Love the penguins!

Balloon still on hand :)

And again, more penguins....

Balloon misplaced right after this :/

Galactica rides which I was too timid to try.
I think my heart may just STOP even before I start.

The red one is named 'Human' where it is supposedly a more normal rollercoaster ride.
The blue one is 'Cylon', where you have to sign an indemnity form (just kidding) and you get turned 360 degrees about 3-5 times throughout the ride.

So try the red one first, before advancing to the blue!

The brave one who still looks okay after the red, and end up he tried both!

Moved back to New York Street/Hollywood finally.

Went to Lights! Camera! Action! hosted by Steven Spielberg.

He was waiting and opening the door for us when we came out of the theatre.

My turn..

Trying to seek for help from M while Charlie Chaplin was adjusting my hand.
"Do I really have to do this????" LOL.

Okay. He's taking a bit long. Better concentrate.

Finally!

Glamourous!

Betty Boops on my cap...

Betty Boops in my hand!

Thought this looks like a dino creeping towards USS :x
This is what too much of fantasy does to your brain.

Dinner at Mel's dine-in.
There's 20% off if you had kept the receipts from the candy houses or other similar (drinks/snacks).

Watched the fireworks show which happens every Friday and Saturday, 9pm.
Be sure to go slightly earlier cos there'd be a crowd already seated and waiting for the fireworks at 8:50pm!

Did a bit of souvenir shopping to end the day.

Candylicious store right outside the USS.
The chocolates and candies are so interestingly wrapped, that I bought quite a few as 'souvenirs' even though I didn't have anyone in mind to give it to :x
