Dined at Morganfield's some time back for xf's birthday meetup :)
Atmosphere of the restaurant was cosy & good.
Choose the seats by the windows if you can, to get a nice night view.
There was the buy-1-slab-and-get-1/2-slab-free promo that evening.
So we got a full slab of Hickory wood-smoked ribs *Chef's recommendation* and 1/2 slab of Tuscan Baked Spicy spare ribs for freeee ;)
Surprisingly, even though it was spicy spare ribs.
They baked it so well that the fragrance of the dish tempted me to have it more than the Hickory wood-smoked one!
Definitely my personal recommendation!

I have read that service was lousy.
It is indeed lousy if you expect the staff to know their stuffs and have some common sense.
Apparently, the waiters/waitresses aren't familiar with their menu & don't have any much common sense at all.
But if you can look past it (like we did), it can be highly entertaining and hence making it a hilarious evening for us.
As a 'compensation' though, the chef did come out and chatted slightly with us, asking for feedback on the food etc.
So, do not have too high an expectation when dining there and you'll enjoy it :)
Especially since the food is great!
