Legoland Malaysia (Part 2)

Following my previous Legoland post, the next three stops in this post would be Miniland, Land of Adventure and Lego City!
If you haven't seen the first post, it's here
http://oyhz.blogspot.sg/2012/11/legoland-malaysia-part-1.html :)

Miniland is one of a kind in the world where you be able to see landmarks from Asia cities where the entire landscape is build out of lego!
How cool is that! The artworks are amazingly incredible (okay sorry i just have to use 2 adjectives at one go to describe this) and you wouldn't believe that they're made up of purely lego after discovering the fine details!

Make a guess what the cities are?

It began pouring once we were done with the Legoland miniland, hence we seeked shelter at the nearest restaurant, Pizza Mania @ Imagination.
Photobucket

Spacious. Designed like the Ikea restaurant, doesn't it?

Photobucket
Like the modern, simple decor :)

There's a 'waterfall' ride called the Adventure's Photo where you take a sloooow boat ride up to a peak and swooooosh all the way down to the pool like a waterfall.
There, your photo will be taken right before you hit the pool.
Tip: Sit at the last row if you want to pose for the photo! The front row people get hit the earliest and look silly (well, if you can even see their faces) in the pics :p
But the ride up the slope was extremely slow, and having a phobia of feeling-extremely-vulnerable-at-a-height (i dunno what's the exact scientific term for it) made me felt like my heart was going to stop while waiting for the the boat to crawwwwwwwwl to the peak. #@$!%^& It's so much worse than the 'thrill' of coming down luh.
That's one exciting ride you should take, and if other riders managed to pose nicely or at least look visible in the photo, buy it! Quite nice!

After the ride, we made our way to the last stop which is Lego City.
Pretty boring city. Cos the games are less thrilling and safe for all kids.

We tried our luck at the following game stall and managed to get a HUGE TEDDY.
Wanted the angry bird initially, but they were all like luo tang ji (direct translation: chickens dropped into soup) from the huge rain in the afternoon. So decided not to.

The prize!

Thankfully we got the bear only towards the end of the day, it's like having another person to take care of!
Went for Legoland express after that, which is basically a tu-tu train around Legoland.

Okay this is not a legoman. But he's so cute too! Such a bright smile!
He helped us printed some photos from the miniland and group shots at the observatory tower as souvenirs <3 <3 <3

Overall, Legoland is quite a nice getaway for us since it's nearby Singapore and convenient to travel there.
Here's the bus schedule if you don't drive.
I had gotten my tix at full price cos we only decided to visit quite last min.
If you are able to plan ahead, at least 7 days in advance, there're discounted tickets online directly from the Legoland website :)
Or you could use this coupon I found online.
35% off is so great!
Makes the tix only around S$36? Originally priced at S$56! A whooping $20 off!
If I had known earlier and utilized the coupon for the 4 of us, I could have gone for another 2 trips with my friends for 'free' la.
Hope you'll be able to use it for yours! :)
